Mattie Walker is an NYC based dancer, educator, and choreographer, originally from the Carolinas. She is a graduate from Oklahoma City University receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Dance Performance. Currently, she is a company member and Dance Captain of The New Jack Cole Dancers. A jazz company whose purpose is to carry on the legacy of Jack Cole through today’s modern lens. As well as educating dancers on the cultural influences that have shaped our art form to be what it is today. Mattie assists the Artistic Director, Cam Loeser, in classes, setting repertoire, and workshops across the city. In addition, to teaching her own classes in the Cole technique to both adults and pre-professional students at Steps on Broadway and Broadway Dance Center.
