Yushu Wang is an interdisciplinary artist working across physical theatre, dance, and filmmaking. Influenced by practitioners from Odin Teatret, her practice embraces encounters with different cultural disciplines and perspectives, approaching the body as responsive and malleable to uncertainty and affect. She views the body as the smallest yet most critical site where political work can happen. Yushu earned her B.A. in Cinema Studies from New York University and is currently exploring the radical potential of bodies in their human and nonhuman forms across various time-based media.
