Parker Ramirez is a neuro-queer performer, choreographer, and writer currently based in Lenapehoking and Wappinger lands now known as New York City and Westchester County. Their choreographic creations were presented at Spark Theatre Festival NYC, BAAD Bronx’s Out Like That Compilation, and their alma mater Marymount Manhattan College. They have explored ideas about queerness and the environment, embodiments of Sara Ahmed’s ideas of Happiness and their promises, and personal reflections of neurodiversity. They are a co-founder of 5$Movement, an improvisational collective based in Brooklyn. This is their first artistic residency and would like to thank Kayla Hamilton, Elizabeth Motley, and the AMP Residency Committee for this opportunity.
