Holly Wilder (she/her) is a 1,600 hour, AmSAT certified Alexander Technique teacher, performing artist, filmmaker, and choreographer based in Brooklyn. She completed her Alexander Technique teacher training at the Balance Arts Center in Manhattan under the direction of Ann Rodiger. She is also a graduate of The Boston Conservatory with a BFA in Contemporary Dance. Alongside her private Alexander teaching practice, she performs professionally in musical theater across the US. Most recently she closed the Drama Desk nominated off-Broadway production of the new musical, Music City. Holly is also Artistic Director of the award-winning dance film company, Wilder Project. Named by Dance Magazine as one of “nine screendance artists you should know about”, her 20 dance films have screened at over 50 film festivals on 5 continents winning 13 awards. In her teaching, art making, and in her life, Holly is passionate about making space for healing so that we can all enjoy our lives, feel connected to one another, and work towards creating a more rational society where we all can thrive.
