Hannah Lieberman (she/her) is a Brooklyn-based dancer, dancemaker, and writer who works with form, gender, physicality, lineage, and feminism. She has presented work at UMass Amherst, Mount Holyoke College, Triskelion Arts, Arts on Site, Green Space, and with the Emerging Artists’ Theatre, and has been supported by the residency program at MOtiVE Brooklyn.

Hannah graduated from UMass Amherst in 2022 with a BFA in Dance and a minor in English. At UMass and in Five College Dance, she studied modern, contemporary, and postmodern styles with Paul Dennis, Barbie Diewald, Aston McCullough, Jenna Riegel, Angie Hauser, Chris Aiken, and Bronwen MacArthur, and performed in three iterations of McCullough’s project witch box, a repertory project with Diewald, and New Second Line by Camille A. Brown. Before college, she trained at Boston Ballet School.

Hannah joined the team at Movement Research as Operations & Finance Associate in fall 2023. Previous positions include Public Relations Intern and Assistant to the Deputy Director at Jacob’s Pillow, Operations Associate at Gibney, and Programs & Events Intern at Movement Research. Hannah is also the Digital Marketing Coordinator with Amy Jacobus Marketing.
