Sam Kann (they/she) is a Brooklyn-based artist working across dance, theater, and film. Recently, Sam directed the music video for Maria BC’s Lacuna and produced the music video for Lucy Dacus’s Night Shift. Sam’s previous work has been shown at The Flynn and the Provincetown Film Festival, as well as DIY venues and non-traditional spaces including Life World (Brooklyn, NY), The Hive (Burlington, VT) and various parking lots across the East Coast. Sam was a 2024 Bearnstow Artist in Residence and received a 2024 Burlington City Arts Community Fund grant to create a performance featuring 19 new movers.
