Melle is a mover, choreographer and video artist from Western Massachusetts. In her third year at Bennington College, she creates multidisciplinary performances and installations. With an interest in locality and communal selfhood, Melle explores continued ephemerality through spoken word and live feed video. While studying in Berlin, Melle has been curious about care and discomfort in the conjunction of formality and ferality. She has had the pleasure of learning from and performing for Vanessa Anspaugh, David Dorfman, Jen Polins, Levi Gonzales, Mina Nishimura, Kota Yamazaki, Dana Reitz, luciana achugar, Erin Ellen Kelly, Tal Shibi, and her mama Mary Beth Brooker.
