One dancer is in the frame. Lu is seated on the ground, propped up on an elbow. They are slumped over with their head slightly tilted to the side. It is as if they are about to get up or perhaps fall back towards the floor. The light highlights their cheek and illuminates a scar, a crease on their face, that mirrors the creases in the sheer tulle gloves that adorn their languid arms. Photo by Rachel Papo.
