I am a dancer, performance artist, choreographer, improviser and educator. I grew up in Israel, the land I come from defines the way I move in the world. I always danced but never felt technique or form to be part of my dance calling. Instead I am invested in movement that is part of who we are in our everyday life, movement that has a play with imagination, intuition and personal stories. Dance as the playground of poetry, memories and the ones we love, music and our shared existence. Dance as a path to self expression and feeling joy; dance as a home. I earned my BA in Dance Theater in Tel Aviv 2009, and a Masters in Dance and Choreography from Sarah Lawrence College New York 2012. Throughout I have participated in different workshops and courses around Dance, Improvisation and other somatics fields as well as taken university courses in psychology and creative therapies. I collaborated with many gifted artists and created dances. Over the last few years I have been working with Parkinson patients, with my teaching focused on dance as an individual pathway to freedom, self expression and joy. I am a mother of two curly boys.
