This class will use the classical choreography of Pilates as our main inspiration. Swan, Roll downs, Saw, Spine Stretch…. All these moves have so much information to dive into, separate out, and re-integrate back into the whole. How do these movements help us strengthen and what do we need to learn to get the most out of what they have to offer? We will use a mix of self massage, contemporary pilates exercises, stretching, and breath to dive into the mechanics of our strengthening practice so that we can also practice good form and make intelligent choices for what we need. This class is open level and appropriate for all.

What to expect:
This Pilates class will be detailed and anatomical but will move globally and offer different techniques like self massage, contemporary pilates exercises, stretching, and breath to create more awareness and openness in the body for when we start to strengthen and move into harder classical Pilates movements. This class is appropriate for all and questions are very, very welcome.
