Lucy Rosa Blanca Gaehring is a trans-femme latin(e) interdisciplinary artist from Miami, based in New York, working primarily in performance with a practice that includes poetry, dance, and sound. She is currently studying at the School of Visual Arts’ BFA ‘Visual & Critical Studies’ program. She experiments with expanding the theoretical boundaries of the queer body using an auto-biographical writing process, both personal and collective, turning everyday life into fiction. She transforms private experiences into public ones, using herself as a vessel of new imaginings.
