Open Performance takes place on Tuesday evenings at Eden's Expressway, 537 Broadway (4th Floor). The Spring 2016 season runs February 2016 - June 2016. The Fall 2016/Winter 2017 season runs September 2016 - January 2017.
Guidelines:
Sign up is first come, first served, starting Saturday May 21, 2016 at 10am. There is no application process, as this is a non-curated program, and we strive to accommodate as many artists as possible. The registration form will be available here. You will select your top five choices from the list of dates, and we will do our best to accommodate you. Please give us as much availability information as possible. Also, please keep in mind that this is a studio venue, and is therefore low-tech.
All performances are on Tuesday evenings at 7pm, with a discussion following. Each choreographer is able to show up to 12 minutes of work-in-process.

Requests are accepted via the online form only, and we will not accept submissions in advance of the registration call time, nor will we accept registration by phone or email. Once the season has been programmed, you will be informed by email whether or not you have received a place and on what date you are programmed. Once you receive this email, you MUST REPLY, either to confirm or withdraw from the program or alternate list. In the event of cancellation, you must give 2 weeks notice or risk being unable to apply for the following season. Also, those who have been programmed in a given season are required to sit out a registration period before applying again. For example, if you are showing work in the Spring 2016 season you cannot apply for Fall 2016 / Winter 2017. This helps us achieve our goal of accommodating as many artists as possible.
