Elsewhere: Alexis Clements in conversation with Vallejo Gantner … and also Neal Medlyn and a slew of his FaceBook friends

The Editors at Critical Correspondence direct you to a conversation in The L Magazine with Vallejo Gantner about mobility in the performing arts, the lack of international exchange with emerging and mid-career American artists, and P.S. 122’s new global program.

Right here.

The interview sparked a furious conversation on Neal Medlyn’s Facebook page, reprinted with permission as follows:

Amazing discussion here. Thank you so much for re-posting this and to Neal Medlyn for starting the whole conversation. This has been a really, really important conversation for a long time, and I think it’s only becoming more so. I think there are parallels with artists working on the fringe in many disciplines and figuring out the constant juggle and ethics of how to value one’s work and that of our peers, our collaborators, and our colleagues.
