Slim Ninja

Jason Anthony Rodriguez (aka Slim Ninja), native of New York City, grew up from a distance from the ballroom community curious of the underground dance form “vogue.” He has recently been seen on the Netflix series "The Get Down" as a featured voguer. He is a voguer/choreographer for the Iconic House of Ninja since 2015 and premiered his first work "Immersion in Vogue" at Summerstage 2016. Gia Kourlas of The New York Times described his work as “a vibrant performance.” He has taught and performed in New York City, Miami, Japan, Dominican Republic, Vienna and the Bahamas.

Mayu Oguri has been a member of The House of Ninja since 2012, after being nominated for the troupe by dancer Benny Ninja. She has recently performed as a vogue dancer for Balmain and H&M's New York launch event and Givenchy's New York Fashion Week after party. Ms. Oguri has been a featured vogue dancer at Icona Pop's Vogue Night at Marquee, and on the French broadcast network, Canal+. She has danced vogue at a variety of venues, including SummerStage in New York in 2012 and 2016, The Bronx Museum of the Arts, Danspace Project, SUNY Purchase, Rio Ⅱ Gallery, Space Ibiza, The Raven, Parlor, and Phase One in Washington D.C. She is currently a professional ballet dancer with New York Theatre Ballet.
