Robin Prichard’s choreography, “noted for its wit and vulnerability” (LA Weekly), has been seen throughout the U.S. and Australia in diverse venues and projects. She served as the choreographer and motion-capture performer for the interactive video game American Idol. As a Fulbright Fellow, she undertook a cross-cultural choreography project between Australian Aboriginal and contemporary dance. She has received the Harkness Award, the Glorya Kaufmann Award for Artistic Excellence, a Fulbright Fellowship in Choreography, an Australian Federation of University Women Fellowship, and a Puffin Individual Artist Grant. She holds a BFA in Dance from SUNY Purchase and an MFA from UCLA. She has taught at Arizona State University, Australia’s National School of Dance for Aboriginals and Islanders (NAISDA), Sydney Dance Company, and Smith College.
