Rebecca Margolick was born in Vancouver, Canada. Based in New York, she was a company member of Sidra Bell Dance New York from 2012-2016. Freelancing, she works with UNA Projects and Patricia Norowol Dance Theater. She has worked with Jerome Bel, Lileana Blain-Cruz, Derrick Belcham and Emily Terndrup, Shay Kuebler, Donald Sales and Barak Marshall. Rebecca was a 2015/16 LABA Fellow at the 14th St Y with her co-director and partner Maxx Berkowitz, where they created the multi-disciplinary work 'birds sing a pretty song' which will be premiering at the 14th St Y in New York and the Chutzpah! Festival in Vancouver in May 2017. Rebecca was an assistant lecturer at UArts in Philadelphia and has guest taught at SFU, Rutgers, The Ailey School, Tanz Farm Atlanta and NYU Tisch. Rebecca trained at Arts Umbrella and graduated with Honors BFA from the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU.
