Orlando Tirado is a screenwriter and artist whose studio practice is collaborative, performative, and method-based. His award-winning films, which explore the psyche in crisis, include: Hannah (2017) and Medeas (2013), co-written with director Andrea Pallaoro. He is the recipient of the Sergej Parajanov Award for Outstanding Poetic Vision. In the past, Orlando has appeared in numerous performance pieces, including works by Math Bass, Vaginal Davis, among others, and his early video works were a collaboration with Daniel Lopatin, of OneOhTrixPointNever. More recently he has been the subject of various artworks. He is currently producing an exhibition in collaboration with the Fourth Wall, an artist-run space located in downtown LA, where he will stage his first play.
