Mike Lawrence

Michael’s law practice focuses on the areas of general business and entertainment law in the music, film, and information technology industries.

He has worked not only with countless musicians and entertainers, but also, managers, and film directors. Michael has worked with the representatives of high profile pop stars like Norah Jones. He represents music venues in New York, like Silent Barn, that have hosted appearances from cutting-edge indie rock bands like Foals, Deerhunter, and Dirty Projectors. Michael has also recently counseled up and coming hip-hop star I.O.D. He is an experienced lawyer with deep roots in the New York DIY community.

Michael is passionate about applying his legal training and skills to help entertainers and other creative professionals succeed through their artistic talents. He received his B.A. in Political Science from Binghamton University and his J.D. from The George Washington University Law School.
