Marisa V. Clementi
Marisa Clementi is a mover, maker, and musician who is curious about the ways rhythm and melody create the textures that shape identity. Her artistic practice layers pop, postmodern, and flamenco traditions with plant and food medicine, writing, and illustration. She regularly collaborates with Tatyana Tenenbaum and Storm Thomas/ Theater but Dance. She’s also been a part of works by Heather Christian, Miguel Gutierrez, Will Rawls, and Nelida Tirado. Marisa earned her MFA in Dance from Sarah Lawrence and BA in Music from Dartmouth College.
