Magdalena Leite is a choreographer, performer, artistic searcher and professor from Uruguay based in Mexico City. She has worked independently since 2007 and in collaboration with Anibal Conde since 2013. They research together in the boundaries of the moving image, the body and the spoken and written language. She is Member of the National System of Art Creators on Choreography from FONCA, Mexico, 2018-2021, a 3 years excellence artistic grant. She was selected with Aníbal Conde to participate in the Venice International Performance Art Week, in Venice, Italy, 2020 and she was invited as guest curators for 2 consecutive years, of the international festival Picnic Sessions from the Centro de Artes 2 de Mayo CA2M in Madrid, Spain, 2018 and 2019. She has MA on Scenic Practice and Visual Arts, by Castilla La Mancha University and the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía from Madrid, Spain; a BA on Choreography by the National Art Center of Mexico City, Mexico and a Diploma of French Studies, French Literature option at Paris 3, Sorbonne Nouvelle, Paris, France.
