Madison Krekel is a freelance performer, musician, and activist originally from Oakland, CA. Now living in Brooklyn since 2010, she has performed works by Katy Pyle's Ballez, toured with Young Jean Lee's Theater Company's Untitled Feminist Show, and was a long time performer with Third Rail Projects' “Bessie” award-winning show, Then She Fell, among others. Currently she is performing reconstructions of John Bernd's work by Ishmael Houston-Jones and Miguel Gutierrez. She performs with Third Rail Projects’ new show The Grand Paradise, teaches youth ballet at BAX, and rocks regularly around NYC with her punk band, Snatch Attack.
