Madelyn Kent

Madelyn Kent is a Brooklyn-born playwright and director and the developer of Sense Writing. Her plays have been performed at The Flea, The Public Theater, New York Theatre Workshop, and Soho Rep, where she was a founding member of the Obie-award winning Writer/Director Lab. Former faculty at New York University/Tisch School of the Arts, where she taught playwriting, screenwriting, and theater, she now teaches Sense Writing at conservatories, universities, and retreat centers here and abroad. She has been a Feldenkrais teacher since 2011.
