Julianne Chapple / Future Leisure

Julianne is a choreographer and multi-disciplinary artist based in Vancouver, Canada and artistic director of Future Leisure. Her work has been shown in festivals, theatre, galleries and artist run centres, across Canada and abroad.

Julie was AIR at the Dance Centre in Vancouver 15/16 and the 2017 recipient of the Iris Garland Emerging Choreographer Award. Most recently, Julianne and company dancer Maxine Chadburn completed a residency in Northern Ireland at Echo Echo studios. She is a member of media art collective the Work Group, is producer and sometimes curator of the Shooting Gallery Performance Series, and sits on the board of directors for CADA-West.
