Hannah Krafcik is a writer and practice-oriented dancer living in Portland, Oregon. Before her move out west, she lived in New York City for seven years, where she received her Master of Arts in Performance Studies from NYU. Her work has been deeply informed by her time working with Fourth Arts Block, alongside artists and organizers in NYC’s Lower East Side. She has been a collaborator and organizer of Fleet Moves Dance Festival in Cape Code since 2011. She has participated in performances by Zena Bibler, Abigail Levine, Saya Woolfalk, and Anne Zuerner among others. Her writing has been published by the Dance Enthusiast, Artslandia, Oregon Arts Watch, and Contact Quarterly.
