Haley Dennis is a performative artist from Sarasota, FL. She is currently a student at Columbia College Chicago majoring in dance with a minor in cultural studies. In her work she often explores the relationship between the audience and performer through an array of manifestations regarding dynamics, interactions, and connectivity. With a continued desire to explore movement construction/choreography, she has taken an interest in investigating performance art in Chicago after performing in “Disco Divine," a performance art piece at SAIC. Haley challenges the idea that dance has to be restricted to a proscenium stage, which fuels her desire to explore movement outside of the traditional dance setting.
