Choreographer Lindy Fines cofounded GREYZONE with artist Justin Fines to further explore the intersection of dance, sound design, time-based media and the visual arts. Their work has been performed at Mike Perry's "WAW" art space (Brooklyn, 2012), FLICfest (Brooklyn, 2014), The Flea Theater, Dixon Place and Brooklyn Arts Exchange. Their short film "Queens Duets" (2015) screened at the International Dance Film Screening (NYC, 2015), the Philadelphia Screendance Festival (PA, 2016), the Fine Arts Film Festival Santa Barbara (CA, 2016), and Salamanca Moves/Movies by Movers (AUS, 2016). GREYZONE were residents at New Dance Alliance (Liftoff, NYC, 2015) and at the Socrates Sculpture Park (Queens, 2016) as part of Norte Maar's Dance at Socrates. "Drift" premiered at Abrons Arts Center as part of NDA's 30th Anniversary Performance Mix Festival (NYC, 2016) and included a costume collaboration with visual artist Maia Ruth Lee. The work received funding from the Foundation for Contemporary Arts Emergency Grant.
