​Flávia Rossi Tápias

Flávia Rossi Tápias, 35 years old, Brazilian resident in Buenos Aires since 2014. Actor graduated at Escola Superior de Artes Celia Helena (SP-Brasil) and licensed in Psychology in UPM-SP. In her trajectory in theater in the city of Sao Paulo, she was part of more than 15 independent theater works and she was member of grupo Teatro da Curva from 2006 to 2013, in which she performed several roles such as actor, producer, assistant of direction and costume designer. During this period she worked with other theater companies as a guest actor, among them, Cemitério de Automóveis directed by the playwright Mário Bortolotto. In Sao Paulo, she studied and was directed by Patrícia Gaspar, Nelson Baskerville, Marco Antônio Braz, Luiz Valcazaras, and others. She performed in Candide, or Optimism by Voltaire and The Death and Life of a Severino by João Cabral de Melo Neto. In the field of dance, in Brazil, she studied dance-theater and performance with Lara Pinheiro, at PUC-SP. In Buenos Aires she took classes and attended workshops with Bárbara Molinari, Josefina Gorostiza, Quio Binetti, Ayelén Clavin, Fabiana Castro y |Juan Coulasso. As a performer she dedicates herself to investigate the body and its creative potential and its intersection with dance, corporal expression, theater and psychology.
