Ellen Furey is a dance artist based in Montreal. She has worked with a range of makers including Dana Michel, Daniel Léveillé Danse, Montréal Danse, Benjamin Kamino, Christopher Willes, Mårten Spångberg, Amanda Acorn, Simon Portigal, Alicia Grant, Anouk Thériault, Winnie Ho, Sasha Kleinplatz, Andrew Tay and Fréd Gravel among others. She spent three years as a company member of Dancemakers (Toronto). Her solo work received an honourable mention for risk and innovation at Summerworks Festival 2016 and has been supported by Usine C (Montréal), Dancemakers (Toronto), PA-F (France) and Artscape's Gibraltar Point (through support from the Québec arts council). Ellen co-runs a new space for dance experimentation and discourse in Montreal called Dance Danse Révolution.
