Belinda McGuire Dance Projects

Belinda McGuire graduated from The Juilliard School (BFA 2006). Through Belinda McGuire Dance Projects, she performs primarily solo work, choreographs and engages in collaboration and production. McGuire was nominated for the 2013 Dora Award for Outstanding Performance (The Heist Project) and has taken part in choreographic residencies at the National Ballet of Canada, Springboard Danse Montréal, Centre de Création O Vertigo, Ross Creek Centre for the Arts, Éspace Marie Chouinard, ICKamsterdam, and The Yard.  She danced with The Limón Dance Company, Gallim Dance, Doug Varone and Dancers and The Canadian Contemporary Dance Theatre. As a producer, Belinda launched The Desert Island Project (2008), The Heist Project (2011) and the Excognito Dance Festival in January 2016.
