Alice Ashton (b. 1992) is a dance artist and painter from Sweden and New Hampshire. She received her BA in Gender Studies and Italian from Dickinson College where she danced under direction of Sarah Skaggs, Dawn Springer, and Dina Verley-Christophe. From 2014-16 she studied at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy of Art in the Netherlands, working with textiles and wood in performative installation. Alice is delighted to join the staff of Movement Research and contribute to the magic work of creating time and space for movement.
