Ali Rosa-Salas

Ali Rosa-Salas is an independent curator from Brooklyn, NY who works in performance and visual art. She has developed exhibitions and produced public programs for AFROPUNK, AMERICAN REALNESS, Barnard Center for Research on Women, CURRENT SESSIONS, Danspace Project, Knockdown Center, MoCADA, TOP RANK Magazine, and Weeksville Heritage Center. Ali is one half of MAMI, a curatorial initiative started in 2016 with Dyani Douze. Together, they've partnered with BALTI GURLS, BBZ London, Browntourage, BUFU, POWRPLNT, Fake Accent, GET ARTISTS PAID, Holyrad Studio, Smart Girl Club, SISTER NYC, Top Rank Magazine and other womxn of color centered collectives to organize community gatherings that center our survival. Ali is an M.A. candidate at the Institute for Curatorial Practice in Performance at Wesleyan University, and a graduate of Barnard College with a B.A. in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. @MAMI_DNA
