Adrienne Truscott’s work straddles many genres - choreography, comedian, writer and performance artist. Her critically acclaimed Adrienne Truscott's Asking For It: A One-Lady Rape About Comedy Starring Her Pussy and Little Else! is considered a critical impetus to the evolving conversation about rape culture and is being filmed for a documentary project. She is a 2014 Doris Duke Impact Award Artist, a 2016 FCA grantee, performed at the Sydney Opera House’s Festival of Dangerous Ideas and The Moth, and her essays have been published in two Australian anthologies and The Guardian. Her shows Asking For It, THIS, Wild Bore and others are currently touring. She’s embarking on three new pieces: a new solo in residence at the Lyric Hyperion (LA), a two-hander with Le Gateau Chocolat (AU) and a new work with Dublin-based brokentalkers to premier in Sept. 2020. She’s delighted to celebrate these two singular artists.
