“This was inspired by last year’s festival, they did 24 X 4 X 4 , and i went to that event and some of the work I saw there was, I thought, the best i’d seen in 2008, and we wanted to continue with that. And, it’s really fun to give artists reseources, and time, and space, and a deadline, and as much support as we can give both financially and space-wise, and technically, and let ’em loose. No rules, no expectations, no, you know…”
