Melinda Myers grew up in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. She trained at her mother's dance studio while also studying music and photography. After receiving a BFA from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, she joined the Trisha Brown Dance Company in 2005. She has performed in New York as a modern dancer, a cabaret artist, a rock singer, and a karaoke master.
