Nancy Garcia has collaborated with artists in the fields of dance, video, and music. Her own dance practice intersects with her music practice. Making dances and music since 1998, she has worked with choreographers Nancy Meehan, Felicia Ballos, Jean Marie Leary, and Chase Granoff, musicians Thurston Moore, Arthur Doyle, Aida Ruilova, and Monotract bandmates Carlos Giffoni and Roger Rimada, among others.

She has performed and shown her work at several New York venues, including Greene Naftali Gallery, Exit Art Gallery, Tonic, Dixon Place, Free 103.9, Live Sh*t at The Chocolate Factory, Movement Research Festival, AUNTS, Knitting Factory, and throughout the US, Japan, and Europe, at festivals such as All Tomorrow's Parties (UK) and No Fun Fest (NYC). Nancy received a Master's degree from New York University's Interactive Telecommunications program within the Tisch School of the Arts. Upcoming performances include a duo collaboration with Thurston Moore at No Fun Fest 2008 (May 16 at Knitting Factory NYC) and solo performance as part of the Collision program of the Mission Creek Music and Arts Festival 2008 (July 17-20 at New Langton Arts, San Francisco).
