Chase Granoff (Web Curator, Live Sh-- Curator) lives in Brooklyn, NY. As a dancer he has worked with Daria Faïn, Beth Gill, RoseAnne Spradlin and many other choreographers. His performance work in collaboration with Jon Moniaci has been presented at Chez Bushwick, Movement Research Festival: Improvisation is Hard, Danspace Project at St. Mark's Church (Food for Thought/The Young Americans), PS 122 (Hothouse), Dixon Place (Body Blend), Dance Theater Workshop (Fresh Tracks), The Chocolate Factory and in Berlin at Das Haus der Kulturen der Welt, as part of nomadic new york, curated by Andre Lepecki. Along with Chris Peck, he co-curates the performance series Live Sh--, at the Chocolate Factory in LIC. Recent projects have included a solo performance in Limerick, Ireland at Daghdha Space, participating in a workshop organized by Juan Dominguez with Marten Spangberg and the historical re-staging / dancing of Ishmael Houston-Jones' "Without Hope". Upcoming projects include a Studio Show at Dance Theater Workshop, the launching of A library, a residency with luciana achugar in Ireland and a choreographic exchange / residency in Prague, Czech Republic.
