Eva Yaa Asantewaa has been a dance critic since 1976, writing for Dance Magazine, The Village Voice, Gay City News and other publications. She serves on the New York Dance and Performance ("Bessie") Awards committee, writes the InfiniteBody dance blog, and hosts Body and Soul podcast, interviewing a diverse range of dance's artists and advocates. She is also a guest blogger for Program Notes, the blog of the 2008 National Performing Arts Convention.
She makes a home in the East Village with her wife and cats.
