Mark Beasley is an artist and curator based in New York City. Past projects include 'The Thinking,' Romantic Detachment, PS1/MoMA, New York;'Beasley Street,' Camden Arts Centre, London; the radio play 'Adventure: Showdown at the Pig Palace,' with Stephen Beasley and Nicholas Bullen and the curated group show ‘Six Actions for New York City,’ Creative Time. Forthcoming projects include 'Hey Hey Glossolalia', various venues New York City, May 2008 and 'Sudden White (After London)' at the Royal Academy, London, December 2008. He is a frequent contributor to Frieze magazine, and is represented by MOT International, London. Rose Kallal is a 16mm film and sound installation artist having presented her multiple 16mm film loop presentations with live sound performances at P.S.1/MOMA (NY), Cooley Gallery(NY), Nada (Miami) and Gavin Brown’s Enterprises at Passerby (NY). Kallal uses a variety of instruments such as analog synthesizer, tape delay, drums and guitar drawing upon minimalism, drone, ambient and metal. Her film work combines primordial imagery and a complex use of color light and abstract forms.
