Milka Djordjevich (Curator) is a dance artist and arts administrator based in Brooklyn, NY. She was raised by Serbian parents in Long Beach, California and received her B.A. in World Arts & Cultures from UCLA in 2002. In 2003, Milka relocated to New York to attend the MFA program at Sarah Lawrence College to focus on choreography. Since graduating, her work has been shown at various venues in New York City including Movement Research at Judson Church, Dance Theater Workshop, Danspace Project, Starr Street Projects, and AUNTS. Milka also occasionally performs for other dance artists such as Natalie Green, Jennifer Monson & Sam Kim. She is a 2007 Movement Research Artist-in-Resident. At the end of 2007 she attended P.A.R.T.S. in Brussels for a month-long residency and this summer will participate in the danceWEB Europe Scholarship Program at the Impulstanz Festival in Vienna.
