M.V. Carbon is a Brooklyn based installation artist and composer. She studied in the Art and Technology department at the Art Institute of Chicago and is currently a graduate in NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program. She uses cello, voice, keyboards, tape machines, guitars, modified instruments and oscillators to create unsettling compositions. She is interested in creating interactive environments using sensors, sound, sculpture and film loops. She has had the opportunity to collaborate and tour internationally/nationally with a long list of amazing musicians.

Her work has been released on labels such as 5RC, Load, Hanson, Veglia, No Fun Productions, Nihilist, and Atavistic. She will be touring in the U.K. and Denmark in June and with Metalux in the U.S. this August.

Upcoming releases include Jackal Blade-No-Fi, Tetragonal Solvents- Nihilist, Metalux, Rampage.
