Critical Correspondence
Artists, Alejandra Martorell and Levi Gonzalez, invite four guest curators to develop content for their web log, Critical Correspondence: an internet project with a mission to bring greater visibility to discourse and language around contemporary dance. Guest curators are invited to engage with ROLL CALL at a critical level, responding to the festival’s goals, approaches, blind spots, shortcomings and successes. Critical Correspondence will offer a lens for considering the festival from a performing artist’s point of view, and invite a public dialogue about performance that is broader than the festival’s frame.
