Clare Byrne
Clare Byrne is a choreographer and writer who performs weekly improvisational dances and writing at http://clarebyrneweeklyrites.blogspot.com/. Her company Clare Byrne Dance performed for nine years in New York City; it is now restructuring itself as a “dance order” with residencies and live performances as part of its observations, in various locations north, south, east, and west of New York. Byrne explores voice, words, movement, body, ritual, religion, and environment in her work, online and in person. Currently residing in the Green Mountains of Vermont, she is conducting research on trees, bird songs, the poetry of Emily Dickinson, and herbs.
