Neal Medlyn
Neal Medlyn is a New York based performer whose work has appeared at the New Museum for Contemporary Art, PS122, Joe’s Pub, the Knitting Factory and in various cities across the United States of America. He was named Mr. Lower East Side in 2004, co-starred with Karen Finley in “George & Martha” and his internet TV show for Nerve.com “Neal Medlyn’s Land of Make Believe” is popular in some circles. He collaborates with Kenny Mellman of Kiki & Herb and Bridget Everett on a recurring show called Our Hit Parade and has worked with choreographers Adrienne Truscott, David Neumann and Miguel Gutierrez.Neal’s mission in life is create shows that approach what he feels to be the ultimate, and unreachable, apex of art making: a live show in which he is torn apart by wild babies and puppies.
