Vanessa Anspaugh (Choreographer/Director) is a choreographer and performer originally from Los Angeles, CA
who has been living and working in Brooklyn on and off for the last nine years. Her own work has been performed at various venues from New York to Los Angeles, and up to Montreal, QC. Last winter she premiered We Are Weather at Dance Theater Workshop, in their Fresh Tracks Program as well as at Highways in L.A last Summer. This Fall, she enjoyed being a BAX Space Grant recipient where she began a new process which she has continued working on at Dance Theater Workshop as a STUDIO SERIES resident. Currently she is looking forward to being one of a handful of Artists to show work in Emily Roysdon's Gay Bar Everywhere at the Kitchen the weekend of May 13th.
