Sarah Holcman is a dance artist, production/stage manager, lighting designer, and arts administrator from Chicago. She has a BFA in Dance from Arizona State University. She worked with the Hollins University/American Dance Festival MFA program under the direction of Donna Faye Burchfield from 2006-08 and was a 2006 Artist-in-Residence at the Atlantic Center for the Arts. Sarah has performed with Daniel Clifton, Lyndsey Karr, Larissa Velez-Jackson, Heather Kravas, and many other fantastic artists, and worked in various capacities with David Ferri, John Jasperse, Joe Levassuer, Jennifer Monson, Nicholas Leichter, Walter Dundervill, and Juliette Mapp. Sarah is on the staff of Movement Research and sometimes dances in music videos. She is a 2011 Shapiro Family Fellow and is currently working with Lyndsey Karr on a show that will premier at the Chocolate Factory in October 2011. www.sarahholcman.com
