Aynsley Vandenbroucke divides her time between New York City and the Catskill Mountains where she and her husband (photographer Mathew Pokoik) founded and direct Mount Tremper Arts, a center for contemporary performance and visual art. Her work has been performed in many wonderful NYC theaters (most recently at Danspace Project as part of the Body Madness platform where she got to delve into her current obsession with written dances). Her work has also been performed in Brazil and San Francisco. A Laban Movement Analyst, Aynsley served on the faculty of the Laban/Bartenieff Institute of Movement Studies and currently teaches at Princeton University. She has performed for Liz Sargent Installations and jill sigman/thinkdance. The 2011 Mount Tremper Arts summer festival runs July 9-August 21. Hope to see you there! http://www.mounttremperarts.org/
