How to rent

Movement Research rents studio space to artists for rehearsal, classes, workshops or private instruction on an hourly basis. We cannot rent space for auditions at this time. Because of our delicate floor, we do not rent for tap, flamenco, hip hop, or any other form requiring shoes. If you are able to rehearse barefoot we are happy to try and accomodate you. Movement Research is a dance service organization, and for this reason we rent only to dance and dance related rehearsals, workshops, and other applicable events. Please click here for more information and a copy of the full rental contract. (should link to another page with the bullet points about renting and either the contract on that page or another link to the full contract)

To Rent space please email us at info@movementresearch.org or call (212) 598-0551 x261 and speak to Rebecca Wender. Please be sure to check for availability on the calendar below before calling or emailing with date requests. We like to minimize the number of times we have to say no to people.
